What an amazing place! Calamigos Ranch in Malibu was not short on locations to stop and shoot – green, overgrown, lush and it seemed to just go on and on. The reception almost felt like a treehouse with a large oak tree coming through the deck with gorgeous hanging lights showering the guests. Wish we could have the spent the day photographing, but apparently these people actually wanted to get married not just pose for portraits. Good thing that part was fun too! Thanks Scott and Melissa for being such a relaxed couple and being so real in your relationship, it was splendid. Cinema sneak peek to come soon as well!

Another Sill wedding? Yes please! John and Olivia, along with their family and friends made for such a bright and cheery day. St. Francis is always lovely with Monsignor being his comfortable warm self, but our location for pictures at a gorgeous lush home residence well equipped with a rope swing (hello happy me!) and a beautiful tented reception at Luigi’s (happy tummy!) it really was a picture perfect day. We captured some beautiful moments throughout the day. Take a look!

What a magical day at the Sesnon House in Santa Cruz last weekend with Alan and Korrina and their families. This was a super special one for me since I have known and had the honor of photographing this bride’s family for over a decade with family and senior portraits (if you’ve been to my studio this bride may actually look familiar!). They have a very special place in my heart so this day was heartwarming to say the least. We were almost fully staffed there as we also had our photobooth there, so it made for a really fun day. Take a look at some of our favorite moments of the day.

We had a great lunch at Seven Oaks with a few friendors headed up by four lovely Fairy Godmothers. We love working with such great vendors that turn into friends in this business. Where would we be without each other?

We LOVE Spring weddings! The rain this year has really brought some beautiful green hills. The rain held off last Saturday for Gary and Brittney so our team led by Erin and Carter got to capture some of God’s beautiful scenery along with a great family. Gary and Brittney’s son Trip was Gary’s best man! Doesn’t get any better than that!
