Last weekend was HOT in Bakersfield, so I’m going to rub it in that we were in Laguna Beach for this wedding! And about the only thing better than the 68 degree weather was this couple and this awesome venue! Hotel Seven4One was such a unique boutique hotel and full of great spots to shoot, not to mention the beach a few steps from the back porch. What made things easier for us was the fact that this Bride and Groom LOVED details and pictures were very important to them, so we planned lots of time for them. They had a first look with her walking down the aisle just for him to see, super sweet. This gave us time for bridal party pics and Bride and Groom pics before the wedding and then we even had time for a sunset walk on the beach. All in all, amazing day! Hope we get to come back to this great place. Our coordinator Events by Robin was fantastic and helped us create such a memorable for Ryan and Jen. Thanks guys for a great day! Hope you’re having a blast on your honeymoon!
Special people, spectacular location! It was our first visit out at Spanish Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita and I certainly hope it won’t be our last. Jamie the coordinator out there was fantastic and the scenery was too much to photograph in one day! Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love tall wheat-like weeds and therefore, I was pretty much in Heaven. And of course, I love this family so much. The Reifel’s are long time client friends and getting to know the Sanchez family was wonderful as well. We enjoyed our day and loved getting to capture a new location. Ashley and Sawyer, thanks for letting us in on your special day – we are excited to see where your new adventures take you! Blessings!!
This is my #2 Dawson bride wedding. With 4 daughters close in age, Bryan and Christy have several weddings and graduations to plan for in the next few years. But they are 2 for 2 with amazing grooms now. Kyle and his family are top notch! We had such a great day being part of this special occasion. We love our weddings at the newly designed St. Elizabeth’s Church in the Northwest and the Junior League is always gorgeous for receptions. Things went off without a hitch and the bridal parties were fun and energetic which always makes for a great day for us! Thanks for letting us be a part of your most special day!
We’re very excited to let you see a little more into Scott and Melissa’s Malibu wedding from weekend before last! Our cinema team did an awesome job capturing the laid back energy of this awesome day. For the second time, we’re also highlighting a local band in one of our pieces – and it’s kind of perfect for this trailer. We LOVE HATE DRUGS and you can give a listen here and then check out more of their work (www.hatedrugsmusic.com). Enjoy!!
What an amazing place! Calamigos Ranch in Malibu was not short on locations to stop and shoot – green, overgrown, lush and it seemed to just go on and on. The reception almost felt like a treehouse with a large oak tree coming through the deck with gorgeous hanging lights showering the guests. Wish we could have the spent the day photographing, but apparently these people actually wanted to get married not just pose for portraits. Good thing that part was fun too! Thanks Scott and Melissa for being such a relaxed couple and being so real in your relationship, it was splendid. Cinema sneak peek to come soon as well!
